He nods, and goes to pick up the needle he'd burned earlier He threads it carefully and heads back to Watson. She's so much stronger than most, but he can see that this has worn on her. It's certainly worn on him.

He grips her small arm with his left hand tightly to keep her from jerking or shifting, takes a breath, and begins to sew. Sewing skin is not the same as sewing cloth. It's tighter, it's more malleable. It hurts the person being sewn.
